Meet Our Outstanding Veterinary Staff

Being the primary health care provider for your four-legged family members is much more than a job to us. It’s our privilege and our passion, and it makes us happy to know that we can play a part in helping pets and their people! Our veterinary staff at Companion Animal Hospital Lake Zurich are very excited to be a part of the journey that you and your pet are taking together. At every step, you can expect us to be here when you need us.

Being there for people and their pets when they need us.

What is one of the services you most often provide for the pets you treat?

Advanced quality medical care at a fraction of the cost of an emergency clinic.

Do you have any special interests in veterinary medicine?

I love all aspects of veterinary medicine, but I have a soft spot for emergency medicine, surgery, dentistry and behavior.

What is the most unusual pet you have treated?

One of my most rewarding experiences was treating polar bears for stereotypical behavior in a zoo.

Beelow’s in Lake Zurich.

Name something people would be surprised to know about you.

I almost became a concert pianist.  I have a dual degree in piano performance and biology from Indiana University.  In the end, I made the right choice!

Our Team

Patricia, Hospital Manager

Hi, I'm Pati, the Hospital Manager at Companion Animal Hospital Lake Zurich. I am a seasoned Certified Veterinary Technician with many years’ experience in Emergency, Surgery and Anesthesia. I have gradually shifted my roles into management over the years but you will still see me on the treatment floor! My home is filled with huskies and Pomeranians and lots of vacuums. On my days off you will see me spending time with my husband and daughter outside and at concerts.

Hi, my name is Jacie! I'm a new addition to the Companion Lake Zurich team, however I'm not new to the field! I've been a Vet Tech for 12 years now and couldn't picture myself doing anything else. I love meeting new people and their fur babies! When I'm not at work my cat and two dogs keep me pretty busy. Opie is a 4 year old Pit Bull, Darla is a 1 year old hound mix, and Guiness is my poor, long haired kitty that has to put up with all of the doggy shenanigans! I also have a passion for art, history and traveling. When I'm not making friends with four legged creatures you can usually find me drawing, painting or flying to a different part of the country for adventures! Although, nothing beats the sense of pride I get from helping pets and their families. I can't wait to meet you and yours!
